MVP and Axiom — What’s the Relationship?

MVP Disc Sports and Axiom Discs are sister brands that share the same overmold platform — a two-material construction where a grippy outer rim is bonded to a stiffer inner flight plate. MVP is generally known for its clean styling and a broad range of disc types. Axiom uses related overmold technology while offering its own distinct mold lineup and often bolder colour combinations. Both brands are manufactured by MVP Disc Sports.

Many players mix discs from both brands in the same bag — choosing based on the specific flight characteristics, disc type, and plastic they need rather than staying exclusively with one brand.

Electron is the baseline family — softer and tacky, popular for putters. Eclipse is the premium glow plastic family used across MVP Disc Sports, including both MVP and Axiom molds.
